ABC Path (also known as "A2Y") is played on a 5-by-5-cell rectangular grid of squares (called "cells"). Outside the grid, along its edges, are clues for each (5-cell) row, column and diagonal.
The objective of the puzzle is to place each of the letters of the alphabet (from A to Y, not including Z) in the grid, so as to satisfy the following conditions:
Each letter appears once and only once in the grid.
Each letter appears in the same row, column or diagonal as its clue.
Consecutive letters are directly adjacent to each other (horizontally, vertically or diagonally).
The letter A's cell is given at the start.
The left-hand image (below) shows an example of an unsolved ABC Path puzzle, and the right-hand image shows the same puzzle in a fully-solved state.
Mouse (or touch-screen) controls:
To select (or highlight) a particular cell: Left-click (or tap) in the cell.
To insert or erase a single letter or a pencil-mark in the selected cell: Left-click (or tap) one of the row of buttons directly above the puzzle (labeled with letters from 'B' to 'Y').
Keyboard controls:
To insert or erase a single letter or a pencil-mark in the selected cell: Press the key matching the letter.
To toggle pencil-marks mode on or off: Press the space-bar.
To move the yellow highlight from one cell to its neighbor (including wrap-around): Use the arrow-keys.
To erase the highlighted cell: Press the Backspace key.
To undo the previous action(s): Press the '<' (less-than) key.
To redo the previously undone action(s): Press the '>' (greater-than) key.
Enabling some settings (by clicking the button marked with ) may help you solve some puzzles.

About Auto-Generate
The 'auto-generate pencil marks' function will automatically insert all valid pencil marks (and omit invalid pencil marks) in every eligible cell in the main puzzle-grid.
A cell is 'eligible' if it is either empty, or if it currently contains only pencil marks.
Warning: Using the auto-generate function will result in a one-time penalty of 30% subtracted from the coin-reward you will earn upon solving this puzzle.
